I Can Feel The Change: Fief, Round 6, Spring

Julio Fief is 26, Danielle Fief is 25, Carla Fief is 8, Stewart and Tate Fief are 2

*Warning, this one might be a bit sad for some of you*

Carla runs over to her father one day and gives him a hug.

“Daddy, you love me, right?”  She asks.

“Well, of course I love you Carla, why wouldn’t I?”  He replies, confused.

“How much do you love me?”  She asks, ignoring his question.

“Well, I love you as much as I love Stewart, and as much as I love Tate, and as much as I love Danielle.”  He replies.

“Okay.”  Carla says, before she runs out of the room, leaving Julio greatly confused.

Carla washes her hands in the bathroom later, and she thinks.

If her daddy loves her as much as he loves Stewart or Tate that’s good, but if he loves her as much as he loves Danielle… what does that mean?  Lately they’ve been fighting a lot, and if they’re fighting, that must mean that he doesn’t love her as much as he used to, and if he doesn’t love her as much and he loves Carla the same amount, then he must not love Carla as much either.

Maybe if she plays the violin better, he’ll love her more again.

*******

The next day, Julio watches Carla get on the bus for school before he goes into the house again to make some phone calls.

The call is a short one, but it’s long enough for him to get the information he needs.

That night he tells Danielle that he has to work a late shift at the restaurant, so he might be home a little bit later.  She’s fine with it, she’ll make dinner for the kids.

But he doesn’t go to the restaurant, he goes to Christine’s house instead.

It had started with a blind date that his co-worker had set him up with, but it had evolved from there.

Their relationship is hot, it’s fiery, it has passion.  Everything his and Danielle’s has lost lately.

He changes his close before catching a taxi back to where he parked his car.  He doesn’t want to leave a trail, any indication of anything.

When he gets home, it’s two in the morning, he expects everyone to be asleep, but Danielle is awake.

“Where the hell were you?  I called the restaurant and they said you weren’t there, and no one knew where you were, I was about to call the police!”

“I’m sorry, I stopped at a bar with a co-worker, and I guess we got a little bit side-tracked.  I’m home now though, and I’m fine, so that’s all that matters.”

“Like hell you were at a bar, I called your work, they said you never even clocked in.  No one saw you.  I don’t know what you were doing, but you certainly didn’t need to lie about it.”  Danielle chokes out.  Julio opens his mouth to say something more, but is interrupted by Tate.

“Momma?  I’m tired.”

Danielle picks him up, and goes to put him in his crib.

“You didn’t have to lie.”  She whispers as she walks past him.

When she gets back to the room, Julio is gone.  His car isn’t there either.  But this is better.  This way she can cry, and he doesn’t have to see her.

**************

  • Gah!  This one broke my heart.  Both Danielle and Julio got ROS’s.  Danielle’s was to have a fight with a family member, and Julio’s was to go on a blind date.  After what happened last round, I couldn’t believe that they got hit with this.
  • Julio didn’t roll up any wants for Danielle at all, two consecutive rounds in a row, but he did roll up a few for Christy, so I don’t know what they’re going to do at this point.
  • If they do get divorced, I’ll probably give Danielle custody of all of the kids, with Julio either having joint custody, or visitation rights.
  • Also, I had to change Carla’s hair, because it looked really really weird with her new skin tone… really weird (it was in the school update, and it annoyed me to no avail) I like this new one better anyways though, so I guess it’s a win-win?
  • This was the last post of Round 6, so next we’ll be off to the summary and play schedule for Round 7!

Well, I’m not quite sure how it’s going to go at this point… they might still stay together, although that’s a slim chance.

Argh, what awful ROS to hit a couple that were already struggling! I hope they can work things out but it doesn’t look good, does it?

NO….. I hope everything works out. I really like this couple. They were so adorable when they first got together.

Hopefully they can overcome this hurdle.
